In restorative yoga, props are used to invite rest and relaxation back into our systems, as they support openness and ease. The intention of this style of practice is to use the props in such a way that supports us to shift to our parasympathetic nervous response - the knowing of rest & restore,  where our mind naturally quiets.   Our body/mind gets a chance to empty of the "to do" list as we allow our Body to be surrendered back and opened to to Life's basic movement - Breath.
Exhaling and inhaling, emptying and filling, air out - air in.

Breath - Nature's basic expression of Life
